VW e-Delivery has sold out first batch in a month

  • One hundred units acquired by customers and dealer network across Brazil
  • Another hundred electric Delivery will be delivered to Ambev by the end of this year

Just four weeks after the worldwide launch of the 11 and 14 ton e-Delivery in a live broadcast, all the first hundred units offered have already been acquired by customers and dealer network across the country. Developed 100% in Brazil, the electric trucks of the TRATON brand are manufactured in Resende (RJ) in partnership with the companies of the Modular Consortium, and have specialized services and consulting from the e-Consórcio.

“We are very pleased with the enthusiasm of the Brazilian market for the novelties. Recent sales include the first deals with Coca-Cola Femsa Brasil, with 20 units, and JBS, which acquired its first VW electric truck. Another one hundred units of the e-Delivery, previously negotiated, will be delivered to Ambev by the end of this year. It is worth remembering that the brewery has expressed its intention to purchase 1,600 electric trucks of our brand by the year 2025”, says Roberto Cortes, president and CEO of the truck manufacturer.

“Customers and dealers were enthusiastic about the proposal, which combines the most modern transport technology with a complete ecosystem that guarantees recharging, technical assistance and the search for the best total cost of ownership. Our network is already being trained for e-Delivery after-sales in cities such as São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Curitiba (PR), Goiânia (GO), Recife (PE), Cuiabá (MT) and Belém (PA)”, explains Ricardo Alouche, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Services.
