Luiz Henrique Bezerra will be taking over as Institutional Relations Director at Volkswagen Truck & Bus. Mr. Bezerra previously worked at the Volkswagen Group starting in 2010 before joining VWTB in April 2025. He assumes the position in place of Marco Saltini, who retired on January 30 after nearly two decades of dedication and hard work at the company.

An attorney and business administrator with a degree in International Trade, Luiz Henrique Bezerra holds a graduate degree in human resources management and electoral law. His career includes more than 15 years’ experience in the automotive industry and more than two decades dedicated to institutional and government relations.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bezerra has served as an executive at Fiesp, advisor to OAB/DF (Bar Association for the Federal District), president of ABRIG, and advisor to CNI’s president. In addition to being named the new Institutional Relations director at VWTB, Mr. Bezerra is also currently National Association of Motor Vehicles - ANFAVEA’s acting vice president.
