Volkswagen Truck & Bus grows sales of parts and accessories by more than 10% in 2023

The year 2023 was very important for Volkswagen Truck & Bus in launching new products and services. In the Parts and Accessories Center operation in Vinhedo, the automaker grew its sales by more than 10% and increased the availability of parts, even with the difficulties of the supply chain during the year.

For the heavy-duty segment, with strategic actions combined with the growth of the current fleet, the automaker was able to achieve a significant growth of more than 60% in parts orders compared to 2022, gaining great representation in the market.

"We reached important milestones in 2023, as a result of the strong work involving the entire logistics chain. This was done by focusing on improving the availability of parts, which together with adhering commercial actions, resulted in a record year", says Ricardo Alouche, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales.

Even with all the challenges of the year, in addition to acting in the proper service for customers, VWTB also invested in the launch of new products for the parts and accessories segment. For the new Euro 6 vehicles, 47 new catalogs were created and more than four thousand exclusive items were released. In addition, the ALMAX Evo 6 5W30 has arrived on the market as the original fully synthetic lubricant developed especially for Euro 6 vehicles.

The automaker also presented new features in the Economy line, with the launch of the new brake pads for the Delivery family and the coalescing filter, which contributed to the line's sales growth of 22%. The remanufactured parts line Volks Green Line also received new products in its catalog, further reinforcing the robust portfolio of Volkswagen Truck & Bus.
